Just For Moms

Just For Moms

Dive into tailored yoga sessions, designed specially for the unique needs and transformative moments of prenatal and postnatal stages.

Prenatal

For expecting mamas! Whether you’ve been practicing for years, or decided to give Yoga a try for the first time in pregnancy, Prenatal Yoga helps to prepare the body for childbirth and alleviate common aches and pains of this precious time. It is recommended that moms-to-be take at least 2 prenatal classes before attending non-prenatal classes while pregnant, even if the student is a seasoned yoga practitioner. We give modifications to common yoga poses in class and go over how to safely practice while pregnant in non-prenatal classes.

Postnatal

Post childbirth, a mother’s body is a whole new world to her, and we have designed a class just for that time. Mamas have a special set of needs postpartum, including slowly integrating the core back into her body, regaining control of the pelvic floor, and heart opening poses to counter the rounded and sometimes painful upper back from holding baby. All this and more, specially designed for moms who have given birth in the last 3 years. Babies welcome!
